Overview: Located eight miles north of downtown Durango, the historic hot springs resort under new ownership has been carefully redesigned, offering visitors a fresh take on the Colorado hot springs experience. The campus features 26 thermal mineral water features. Resort highlights include 16 soaking pools, eight private Japanese-inspired cedar soaking tubs, a reflexology walking path, and a mineral water rain tower. Durango Hot Springs Resort + Spa is the only natural hot springs in the world to infuse nano-meter and micro-meter oxygen bubbles which increase the health benefits of the geothermal waters.

Amenities:

  • General: Durango Hot Springs Resort + Spa is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations are required. Towels are available for purchase.
  • Pools:16 geothermal soaking pools — four are family-friendly and 12 are adults-only. There is also a zero-entry resort-style swimming pool with lap lanes.
  • Spa: The spa offers a diverse menu that includes a massage, body treatments, as well as facials, and a variety of enhancements that can be added to services.
